Welcome.  

At Hamlin Assembly, we are working to create a warm, welcoming "place to belong".  Our church is multi-generational and includes people of various backgrounds.  We are united in our belief that real life can only be found in Jesus and together we celebrate all that God is doing in people's lives.  We are a family.

Our services include a blend of contemporary and traditional worship; relevant, Biblical preaching and often an opportunity to become a Christian.  Prayer is an important part too as we believe that God is our healer and our provider.  We know that people hurt and have needs that only God can supply, so we take time to allow Him to work among us.  Sunday Connect Groups begin at 10:00am and offer small group learning from Nursery through Adults.  T.R.E.K. Connect Groups (kids) meet in the Children's Wing.  The Coffee is usually brewed by 9:30 am for Youth and all Adult Connect Groups, so grab a cup of coffee and join a group to connect!  The 11:00am service generally is about 1 hour and 30 minutes in length.

We would like to acknowledge your visit with a smile and a small gift.  Be sure to drop off your Connection card to the Welcome Desk after service.  Any questions you might have may be answered there, or when we call to welcome you later in the week.

Anything for Children?

In addition to the small group learning of Connect Groups, we offer church time programs that take place during our 11:00 am service.  Our children experience their own worship, games, lessons and laughter!  Children share Communion and Baptism celebrations with their families, as every element of churchlife is a time for learning, designed to build on all that you teach at home.  Fifth Sundays have a special Missions focus where children learn to save and give their coins to needs -- both global and local --through our BGMC program. Children always are given the opportunity to use their faith and participate in changing their world. Check in at our Children's Wing for a name tag.

Hamlin Assembly values children.  All volunteers working with children and youth have submitted to a background check and work diligently to serve your children well.  A staffed nursery is available during 10:00 am Connect Groups and church.  Check out our Nursery web page!  


What about Students?

Hamlin serves the needs of our Youth on Sundays with an informal Connect Group for Middle and High Schoolers at 10:00 am.  We offer a small group time to discuss the whys of faith and everything is designed to strengthen our Biblical grid of belief.  Fridays, the Youth meet informally for games, hanging out and often a video-based lesson during our Friday Family Nights.  Hamlin Assembly participates in Sectional and District events like Winter Retreat and Youth Convention.

Special Needs:   

We want Hamlin Assembly to be a place where all find a "Place to Belong" and work hard to ensure that all are able to worship with us. To that end, we provide:

  • Hearing Assistance devices for those who need the sermon amplified. Please request a unit from the Sound Booth located at the rear of the Sanctuary.

  • Drive-up Wheelchair Access through the covered walkway on the left-hand side of the facility.  

  • Handicapped Accessible bathrooms are located off the main foyer.

  • A Covered Portico is located on the right hand side of the facility for drive-through drop off in inclement weather.   There are steps at this location.

  • Separate childrens classes for special needs children are not available at this time, however, we would love to welcome your child into our classes, as they are able.  Depending on the severity of the need, a parent may be asked to remain with the child.  Please indicate food allergies or needs at time of check-in and confirm with the teacher.

Church Services:

 In addition to Sunday services, we also meet together for Friday Family Nights. Prayer & praise, Youth Group and children's programs run all year long at 7:00 pm. (During the famous Pa. winters, check our website or Facebook for closures.)
