Family Photos
Sally Chumard will be taking photos in the Foyer of all our families for our inhouse directory -- February 5th and 19th. Be sure to take a moment and have her snap a picture! A picture is worth a thousand words!
Fine Arts Competition
The Youth of our District will, once again, be participating in Fine Arts Competition. Sectional Fine Arts will be held at Hazleton February 18th and Districts at Youth Convention in April. Pray for our kids -- that God would increase their creativity in their various areas of worship.
Gertrude Hawk sale
The Youth will be selling delicious Gertrude Hawk chocolate bars to help fund their Fine Arts and Convention trip. Only $1! Or, buy a whole box! Raspberry, peanut butter, chocolate, almond, toffee, and more...
Hamlin Hopes Food Distribution
Hamlin Hopes has expanded its ministry to our local communities, giving free food out once a month, every fourth Monday from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Local businesses have donated shelf-stable goods for this purpose. The only requirement for eligibility is that you live in the areas of Greentown, Hamlin, Hawley, Honesdale, Lake Ariel/Jefferson Twp., Moscow/Madisonville, Lakeville, South Canaan, Sterling, Waymart. Proof of residency/Driver's License is required at registration. Tell your friends to share the blessing.
Ministry Summit
All those involved in any ministry at Hamlin Assembly, plan to have lunch with us February 26th. We will be addressing vision for 2012, and working in our individual ministry groups to plan and to set some calendar dates for your ministries. See you there!
Secret Sisters Starts!
After rave reviews in 2011, we are starting our Secret Sister encouragement exchange once again! Be sure to fill out the "About Me" form in the foyer so that we can assign your special sister to you. Sisters should be part of Hamlin Assembly and willing to commit to bless each month (with a card or small gift) and pray for your sister until December.
Valentines Dinner
Friends, family and loved ones are all invited to sign up for the very special evening, provided by the Youth group, February 10th. Can't you smell that deliciousness? Anthony Allatto will preside over the kitchen this year, childcare available and so much more! $10 per ticket -- sign up today! Profits will go toward the Youth Convention in April. Chicken Cordon Bleu, Salad, Veggies, Potato and dessert!
